Cirrhilabrus punctatus Randall & Kuiter 1989, the Dotted Wrasse.
Western Pacific, Australia to Fiji. To five and a half inches
length. Below, a juvenile (typical looking for the genus) in
Australia and a female and male in Fiji. |

Cirrhilabrus pylei Allen & Randall 1996. Western Pacific; Papua New
Guinea. To three inches overall length. Found in 72-86 meters of water
according to fishbase.org. Aquarium photos of three males. The first two
are 9 cm., by Hiroyuki Tanaka at 7 and 11 cm., the last by RMF. |
